30 Day Blog Challenge to Kick-Start Your Blog

Blogging as a business can be a fun and profitable way to earn some money. By growing your reach and engaging with your target audience, it’s prime opportunity to get the right eyeballs on your products and services (if you have any) or to just build a profitable community.

If you’d like to get started with blogging, I invite you to follow along in this 30 day challenge with me. I’ll have a fresh blog post each day for you to read and take action on.

Join us for the 30 day blog challenge to kick-start your blog with great content consistently.

30 Day Blog Challenge in a Nutshell

In this challenge, we’ll accomplish two things:

You’ll get lots of ideas for new content to help you blog more consistently.

You’ll get lots of tips, strategies, and techniques to help you blog better.

Why are these things important?

Blogging Consistency

The first goal of the 30 day blogging challenge is to give you plenty of ideas to blog about. Have you ever sat in front of a screen, staring at a blank page, just willing some great idea to come to you?

It’s hard to come up with something to write about when you’re faced with that blank screen.

When you’re stuck or feeling uninspired, the tips in this blogging challenge will help you brainstorm great post ideas in a matter of minutes. Keep the ideas in a list somewhere (like Trello, ClickUp, or your preferred tool of choice) so that you never run out of blog post ideas again.

You may have heard that you have to blog every day to make progress, but that isn’t true. We’re going to do it for 30 days straight, but that’s to get you motivated, to help you see how easy it is to write posts once you’re in the swing of things.

But your consistent blogging schedule may look different than someone else’s. Do you want to blog twice a week? After this challenge, that’s totally fine. Just work according to your schedule (and get ahead in content)  so that you never feel writer’s block again.

Take our challenge to write 30 posts in 30 days!

Blogging Better

The second goal of this 30 day blog challenge is to help you become a better blogger. No matter if you’re new to blogging or an old hand at it, there’s always something to improve on.

I’ve been at it for nearly five years now, and I still pick up great tips and ideas every day!

So, every day, I’ll offer a new tip, strategy or idea for you to work on. Incorporate as many as you can. However, if something doesn’t line up with your goals as a blogger, feel free to toss that idea out. We all have our own vision as to what our blogs should look like.

By completing this blogging challenge, my hope is that we all get more engagement, more traffic, more subscribers, and eventually, more cash in our pockets. Because as much as we love the blog life, we have to get paid, too.

Right? Right.

Quick Content Creation Idea

Before we wrap up day one of the 30 day blog challenge, let me share this quick tip for creating content. It can be applied to any niche.

Use a theme to help you create content quickly and easily. For instance, if you’re a food blogger, create 30 Instant Pot recipes for this challenge and invite your readers to follow along. By narrowing down your topic to a certain theme, you already nip that nagging thought of “I don’t know what to blog about” in the bud.

Need more theme ideas? Here ya go:

  • Parenting Niche – Blog about 30 easy screen-free activities you can do with your toddler. At the end of the 30 days, put them all in an awesome roundup!
  • Health & Fitness Niche – Run a 30 day challenge on toning your arms.
  • Frugal Living Niche – Blog about 30 different ways to trim monthly household expenses.
  • Organization Niche – Run a 30 day decluttering challenge with your readers.

See? You really can easily craft a 30 day challenge around any topic, making it super easy to crank out those blog posts. The idea is to challenge yourself to do this consistently for 30 days.

Try it. I think you’ll enjoy getting into the habit of daily blogging, even if it’s not something that you’ll stick to long-term. 30 blog posts is a BIG accomplishment, so if you’re a new blogger, can you imagine how 30 new posts can impact your blog? Whoa!

Don’t forget to pin this post in case you need to do the challenge again in the future!
